About the artist

Hi! I'm Tara Lynn Pugh

I'm a full time artist, teaching artist, and introverted outsider from Cincinnati, Ohio.    Art is my solace and spirit and I knew at a very young age this is what I was meant to do. 

I am a brave woman who isn’t afraid to have a voice.  I’ll show you who I am and I’ll do it through my art.

I am an artist with the freedom to be weird, and quirky, and unusual.  I’ll shout it from the rooftops if I have the opportunity!

I know who I am and who I want to be, and I don’t have to be the person others wanted me to become.   I don’t have to create what others want me to create.  

I’m confident enough to be peculiar, I no longer desire to blend into the grey masses.   Underneath this resting-bitch-face exists a brightness and a spirit and I am daring enough to let that show in my work.  

I love what I do so much that I don’t need to earn cheers and ribbons to continue doing it.  I want to share it with the world.  I want to share it with you.  

 I love using a variety of media and focus on expressive flowers, luscious layers, and bright, bold colors.   I use my artwork as a way to express myself and connect with you, and I hope that you accept the invitation and connect with me.
